No, we do not offer Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro at this time because we strongly believe there are better options available for our patients. The primary active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy is Semaglutide and the primary ingredient in Mounjaro is Tirzepatide. Our Nurse Practitioners are able to prescribe customized, locally compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide injections for weight loss without the insurance headaches and continual in-office check-ups that the name-brand versions of these medications often require.

No, our office does not offer Phentermine. We recognize that because Phentermine has been available longer than medications like Ozempic, many of our patients were introduced to medical weight loss through Phentermine and may expect to receive this medication. However, while Phentermine offers benefits for many patients, it is often not the right choice for others.

Phentermine is a controlled substance with a risk of addiction and abuse. Patients can build a tolerance to Phentermine’s effects, causing weight loss to slow or stop, leading some to take more than prescribed, a dangerous health risk.
